Well, that’s a new one. In one of my more boring border crossings, the Israeli guards had taken mine and my roommate’s luggage to be searched. When we got it back his walkman (oh yeah!), which had stopped working during our crossing of the Sinai, had been fixed. I guess this is the polar opposite…
